If you’re going to learn the language, or if you're going to try and read some of the Spanish-language books we suggest, then a dictionary will become your best friend. Although there are many, we like Merriam-Webster's Spanish-English Dictionary. If you speak some Spanish you should also get the classic Spanish-only Larousse dictionary, a companion to high school and college students all over South America. The unfortunate reality of flash cards is that there are no great ones, meaning well designed, graphically pleasing, and with additional useful info like irregular verbs (hint to nifty entrepreneurs out there!!!).
