7 Simple & Delicious Tapas Recipes

Serrano Ham and Asparagus

Serves: 2
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 8 asparagus
  • 8 slices of Serrano ham
  • Olive oil a needed

Directions:

  1. Wrap the asparagus with sliced serrano ham and arrange them on a baking sheet. 
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15 minutes until desired tenderness.

     

    Roasted Red Peppers & White Tuna

    Serves: 4
    Prep time: 10 minutes
    Cooking time: 2 minutes
    Total time: 12 minutes

    Ingredients:

    • 1 can or jar of white “yellowfin” tuna
    • Roasted red peppers
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 4 slices of white bread
    • Olive Oil

    Directions:

    1. Cut the bread into slices and rub it with a garlic clove as if you were grating it.
    2. Toast the bread. And top with tuna, roasted peppers and drizzled olive oil. 

      Roasted Red Peppers with Garlic

      Serves: 4
      Prep time: 5 minutes
      Cooking time: 10 minutes
      Total time: 15 minutes

      Ingredients:

      • 4 red peppers
      • 2 garlic cloves
      • 4 slices of white bread
      • Olive oil

      Directions:

      1. Mince the garlic and sauté it in a frying pan with olive oil. 
      2. Add the red pepper and sauté for a few more minutes. 
      3. Cut the bread into slices and serve the peppers on top of each piece.

        Spanish-Style Artichokes

        Serves: 4
        Prep time: 5 minutes
        Cooking time: 15 minutes
        Total time: 20 minutes

        Ingredients:

        • 1 jar of artichoke hearts
        • Sea salt
        • Olive oil

        Directions:

        1. Cut the artichoke hearts in halves and place them on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. 
        2. Bake for 10-15 minutes until toasted and tender. Serve warm. 

          Artichokes with Serrano Ham

          Serves: 4
          Prep time: 5 minutes
          Cooking time: 10 minutes
          Total time: 15 minutes

          Ingredients:

          1 jar of artichoke hearts 

          4-6 slices of serrano ham 

          Directions:

          1. Cut the Serrano ham into small pieces. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add the serrano ham. 
          2. Add the artichokes in halves. Stir gently until browned. Serve still warm.


          Patatas Bravas

          Serves: 4
          Prep time: 5 minutes
          Cooking time: 15 minutes
          Total time: 20 minutes

          Ingredients:

          • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
          • 1 jar of brava sauce
          • Olive oil as needed
          • Optional: Aioli or mayo

          Directions:

          1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, cook the potatoes until tender, drain and set aside.
          2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and brown the potatoes. Place on a bowl and toss with brava sauce.
          3. Serve with a side of aioli or mayo.

            Manchego Cheese

            Serves: 4

            Total time: 5

             Ingredients:

            • 6-8 oz Manchego cheese
            • Olive oil as needed

            Directions:

            1. Bring the cheese to room temperature and cut it into slices. Drizzle with olive oil and serve.
