Collection: Last Chance Clearance

Clearance Items: Near, At, or Past Best Before Dates and/or Discontinued Products

Products that are past the "best before" date are not considered expired or unsafe to consume, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The "best before" date simply indicates the period during which the product is expected to be at its peak quality in terms of taste, texture, and nutritional value, as determined by the manufacturer. It does not mean that the food is unsafe to eat after that date. The CFIA clearly states that best before dates are about quality, not safety, and many products are still perfectly safe and usable after the indicated date, provided they have been stored properly and show no signs of spoilage.

All sale items are final—no returns or exchanges will be accepted. If you would like to know the specific best before date of a product before purchasing, please email us directly at info@thespanishstore.com
